What we are all about
We are a true family owed and operated full service campground and cabin rental
getaway. We decided a long time ago that we didn't like what we were seeing in the
so called campground industry which had basically moved away from hideaways off
the beaten path to the corporate style rest areas off the highways. We wanted
something more of a traditional out of the way camp lifestyle and felt that our
customers would appreciate a place to truly unwind in an atmosphere that was
beautiful and relaxing if they needed to unplug, yet a place that also offered access to
all aspects of living life and making memories.

What you can expect
We don't like to oversell ourselves so we let you decide. First of all lets look at our
location. We are located in the majestic mountains of Western North Carolina just
about 13miles North of Down Town Murphy and about the same distance from the
Tennessee State Line. Our competition may say we are in the middle of nowhere,
however our repeat visitors would tell you we are exactly where they want to be. It will
take a few moments to realize that you can actually hear the sounds of nature and the
creeks without the having to concentrate. You will be in the still of the mountains and
will not be listening to the sound of traffic whizzing by your campsite all night long.
Here is something that most people have taken for granite, when you look up to the
heavens from here on a cloudless night you will actually see the stars with so much
clarity it will bring back memories of simpler times when light pollution was only held
to the largest of cities.
Now add in fully equipped cabins, bunk cabins, creekside full hook 50a/30a sites,
water/elec sites, primitive camping, bathhouses, pavilion, store, playground, water
splash park and being pet friendly. Why would you want to go anywhere else!
